Our Bridging and Outreach programs help women who need pre-employment supports as they try to enter the labour market while managing challenging life situations.
Programs are customized and can include:
- Life skills
- Assistance with career planning and job search
- Basic math and English upgrading
- Basic computer skills
- Opportunities to volunteer
- Information and referral services
Bridging and Outreach programs serve women who are victims of violence, single parents, homeless women, women undergoing divorce or separation or recovering from substance abuse, as well as women who are planning for workforce re-entry while still parenting young children or caring for the ill or elderly.
On request, we work with individuals, and deliver programs off-site with community partners in numerous locations.
To inquire about our off-site services, or to request customized services for yourself or women in your community, contact our Women’s Services Coordinator at 416-247-7181, ext 2328.
