Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC)

LINC participants attend full-time day classes to develop their English language skills. At the same time, students learn about Canadian life and culture to build a sense of independence and increase their participation in Canadian society.

We offer classes at LINC levels from low to Advanced. Before you start class, a qualified assessor will determine your eligibility and language level. We can make an appointment for your assessment at an approved site.

We offer child minding service for eligible students. Classes run 12 months of the year, including summertime.

All our classes are on a continuous intake basis.
Monday to Friday — 9:00 a.m. to 2:30.pm.

Are you eligible?
LINC students must be adult immigrants, convention refugees, or persons to whom Canada intends to grant permanent residence. Canadian citizens are not eligible.
