Women’s Enterprise and Resource Centre (WERC)

MicroSkills Women’s Enterprise and Resource Centre offers training and support services to women who want to establish and operate small businesses.

Self Employment Training

This program provides women with an orientation to self-employment and an opportunity to develop the personal and business skills required to set up and operate a small business.

Self Employment Training for Home Childcare Providers

This program is intended for women who want to provide childcare services in a home-based business. This unique program combines training in child development, home childcare service standards, a childcare practicum, and guidance in starting a home-based business.
