Local youth come together and discuss issues that directly affect their neighbourhood. The Youth Council organizes activities and events for their local community, most recently a United Way Walk-a-thon fundraiser.  The Youth Council provides guidance on programming ideas and issues they would believe would be beneficial to their peers.  The council is a youth-led initiative.
