Reporting to the Executive Director and engaging as part of the senior leadership team, the Director of Employment Services and Youth Services is responsible for the leadership and execution of the organization’s employment services, skills training programs and youth services.
You need to possess an array of qualifications in related fields and a minimum of 5-years of senior leadership experience. A compelling track record of success in the development and delivery of this portfolio’s services demonstrating business acumen, outcome focused programs and the ability to incorporate anti-racism, equity and access principles in all aspects of work. Other standard requirements include: understanding sector trends; knowledge/sensitivity to communities served; funder/accountability/reporting requirements; proposal writing; financial literacy and budget accountabilities; excellent written and oral communication skills, etc – the whole enchilada. You’ve got to be firing on all pistons and present yourself as a compelling, smart and successful multitasker with exceptional leadership talents!

This Settlement Counsellor provides settlement and integration services to newcomers, immigrants, and refugees in the local community. This position outreaches to emerging newcomer communities, provides direct settlement services to clients including assessment, information and referral services, translation and form filling, and advocates for services on behalf of clients. The successful incumbent conducts community needs assessments to inform settlement program and service development, plans and delivers group sessions based on client needs, and evaluates the programs and services delivered.
