Volunteering

MicroSkills' volunteer program is built on the strengths of dedicated individuals from a wide range of cultural backgrounds.

Our volunteers generously contribute their time and energy to support MicroSkills' mission, to enable our clients to participate more fully in Canadian society and to help them gain the skills they need to achieve self-determination and economic, social and political equality. Some of the MicroSkills activities enriched by the help of volunteers are:

  • Assisting clients with job search
  • Delivering workshops
  • Providing support and encouragement to clients
  • Planting and maintaining community gardens
  • Organizing celebrations, information fairs, and other special events

Our volunteers are a vital and integral part of MicroSkills, who give of themselves and in return enrich their lives by developing new skills, enhancing current skills, and building new relationships.
